Kitchenware for people who cook most nights.
We make the everyday tools of prep well enough that you stop replacing them. It starts with one thing done properly: a wood fibre chopping board that is kinder to knives than plastic and easier to live with than timber.
We had thrown out more chopping boards than we would like to admit.
Plastic ones that went grey and scored within a year. Wooden ones that cracked, warped, or quietly started to smell because nobody oiled them. Every kitchen we knew had a drawer like that.
Then we read what happens to a plastic board when you cut on it, and the drawer stopped being a nuisance and started being a problem.
So we went looking for a board that would survive a real kitchen in the Gulf: hard water, a dishwasher every night, a family that cooks most days. Wood fibre was the answer. Dense, thin, kind to knives, nothing to oil, and no plastic surface to end up in dinner.
That is Carva. One product done properly, and the range grows one thing at a time, only where the same test applies: does it survive daily use, and is it better than what people already own?
The Carva team, Dubai
Three rules we do not break.
Made to be used
Nothing in the range is precious. Every product is designed for the dishwasher, the drawer, and a knife in a hurry. Longevity is the sustainability story.
The simpler swap
We never argue that better kitchenware is virtuous. We show that it is easier: fewer boards, less care, no oiling, no odour.
Wiser options
Nothing here is for display. Boards and kitchenware that earn their place by being used, not admired, and outlasts the one they replaced.
One product now. More, slowly.
Nothing joins the range until it passes the same test as the board.
